The beautiful photos by you can’t be serious of t&t’s flowers for the lovely spring wedding of Liz & Joel (recently featured on polka dot bride, no less!) I posted some of my images a while back but these do the grevillea, Colombian yellow rose, jonquil, sweet william, ranuncula, wax and delphinium bouquet so much more justice! It was the happiest, most colourful wedding. Oh, and check out the bride’s new expectant-mum-fashion blog dressed for 2 here. HF.

It’s a tough call, yes, but I have a favourite florist in Sydney : Seed Flora. It’s partly due to their unpretentious-fly-under-the-radar-inner-west-iness, but mostly because they are really fantastic at what they do, and every arrangement I’ve ever sent to anyone from there – some in very sad and upsetting circumstances – have been incredible and touched and overwhelmed the recipients, which is kind of the point, non? Next time you find yourself in Glebe/Broadway, do yourself a favour and poke your head in to 79 Bay St. It will be a literal breath of fresh air and beauty explosion. New season Liberty of London textile designs, inspired by the interiors, architecture and gardens of Glencot House, near Wookey Hole, Somerset (I didn’t have to add that detail, but couldn’t resist).HF.

More architectural fashion inspiration! This time it’s Jonathan Saunders Pre-Fall 2012. Inspired by modernist interior architect Charlotte Perriand (1903 – 1999), above, known for her ‘machine age’ aesthetic and close collaboration with Le Corbusier, Saunders presented beautiful 50s and 60s silhouettes in lush, geo textures, reminiscent of bamboo and flocked wallpaper.

We don’t often feature people’s houses on t&t, as so many other design blogs do it so well. But I couldn’t resist this. The Pasadena home of Lindsey Pollard (who works on Family Guy!) – a perfectly pitched, sweetly adorned hot weather home. Pollard subscribes to the same home design theory as Jonathon Adler (and me): surround yourself with things you love. Without making them suffocate you. Right then, off to colour code my book shelf.
