Congratulations to the Australian Fleming’s Nursery / Philip Johnson Landscapes and their Trailfinders show garden for their Best in Show win, after nine years exhibiting! Images second and third from top. Love the tree ferns but wish there were more detailed images of the plantings. Others that caught my eye were Laurent Perrier (fifth from top), Arthritis Research (fourth from top) and Daily Telegraph (top). It’s very nice to know that there is now a Chelsea Fringe festival, embracing the less monolithic/glamorous of horticulture, images above. HF.

Getting excited about the V&A’s Quilts: 1700-1945 at GoMA, Queensland Art Gallery this winter. But please: someone put on a major Australian historical quilting exhibition soon! HF. Details on quilt images above found here. 

Another Liberty collab? If it were ever possible, I am at risk of getting sick of Betsy. But I have to say that the NIKEiDs are pretty rad – a better design and bigger range of prints than the Converse equivalents (pains me to say, being a Converse girl myself). Not available online to Aus, so hit up that NYC cousin/friend. HF.

There is now a stellar range of storage baskets and photo frames in Sydney, care of the Williams Sonoma/Pottery Barn/West Elm migration. From well designed, inexpensive sofas to the perfect jars for jam season, this is going to shakes things up, retail-wise. For smaller items, the prices are only a smidgeon more than the US. And the range is pretty good, considering we’re one fifteenth the size, population wise. Oh, and the staff were both plentiful and super helpful. My only gripe: the store configurations – if only they’d taken over a deco warehouse down Alexandria way! HF.

After nabbing some things from the Uniqlo/Orla Kiely range last year in Tokyo, I might have to justify a trip back to peruse the new Suno line. I love how Erin Beatty and Max Osterweis have created a range that directly relates to their last ready to wear collection, rather than a complete departure. Ticking ahoy! HF.
